Account Deletion
Siltop Group Ride users can request deletion of their account and associated app data.
Delete Your Account In The App
If you still have access to the app, open Siltop Group Ride and go to Profile. Use the account deletion option there to delete your account.
Request Deletion Without The App
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, email a deletion request to SteveCostantino@Gmail.com.
Include the email address used for your Siltop Group Ride account and write that you are requesting account deletion. We may ask for information needed to verify that you own the account before deleting it.
What Will Be Deleted
In-app account deletion removes your sign-in account, profile details and avatar, live and anonymous location records, group memberships, notification tokens, diagnostics, community photos and comments, trail reports, and other account-linked activity. Groups that you own are also deleted.
What May Be Retained
Shared chat messages and published trail or place contributions may remain so conversations and map data continue to work, but your identity is removed from them. A minimal non-identifying deletion record, safety or moderation records, operational audit records, and temporary backup copies may be retained when needed for abuse prevention, legal compliance, service integrity, or disaster recovery.
Timing
Deletion requests are reviewed as soon as practical. If more information is needed to verify the request, we will respond using the email address provided.
